The actuators NE can be used as an efficient 90 ° electric actuator for the actuation of butterfly valves and ball valves in OPEN-CLOSE operation. The self-locking worm gear ensures precise positioning. With the Failsafe function via SuperCap condenser, the actuator will move to OPEN- or CLOSE-position in case of power loss. In normal operation, the capacitors will be charged by the power supply of the actuator. Note: The failsafe function is an emergency function. In normal operation the actuator must drive electrical. All NE-actuators have a solid and waterproof body, thermical overload protection and a heating device preventing condensation to ensure high durability. In addition, all actuator with a torque of 150Nm and above have special torque switches for OPEN and CLOSE rotation direction to prevent against overload. All standard NE-actuators are equipped with 2 additional limit switches, an optical position indicator and a manual override by means of a hand wheel, which is disengaged in normal operation and does not rotate. The actuator NE are equipped with mounting pad according to DIN ISO 5211 for a safe and functional mounting to industrial valves. A generously dimensioned output shaft ensures a secure transmission of the rotation torque to the valve.
