The wattmetric relay E 492N measures
the voltage (V) and the current in the
line (I), besides it computes the cos
and the ACTIVE POWER as product
of:

USE

to the motor gives the direct
information of the instant load of the
motor itself. Such information is more
accurate than the one given by the
current value.
